Montreal's future creatives aren't afraid to show off their talents: the clothesline of creative entries was full again as Week 2 of the ouvretaboite competition took place at the Café de la Cinémathèque. For Week 2, entrants had a briefing from Transcontinental (coupdepouce.com). Week 3 entrants will work from a briefing by Radio-Canada. Professional creatives Annie Vincent of Zoum Armada, Laurent Prudhomme of Cossette communication-marketing and Benoit Lach of Les évadés presented Week 2's first prize to the team of Louis-David Jutras and David Allard. Marie-Ève Lupien took second prize, and third prize went to Christian Letendre. Representatives of coupdepouce.com, Guillaume Brunet, Jocelyne Morissette and Catherine Barry, presented the client's prix coup de cœur to the team of Jutras and Allard. And Gilbert Paquette of Hebdos Québec, official presenter of 5 à 7 ouvretaboite.com, gave the media creativty award to Lupien. The Jutras/Allard team also was given special mention by Hebdos Québec. All winners proceed to the grand finale and the chance to win a three month stage with Montreal agency LXB. With the annual Créa awards (organized by Infopresse in association with the Association des agences de publicité du Québec) scheduled for Apr. 10, the Radio-Canada briefing for ouvretaboite will be put online Apr. 9 with Week 3 creative judging on Apr. 17. Young creatives and members of the industry are invited to attend the Apr. 17 event at the Café de la Cinémathèque.
