BOS Awarded Grand Créa at 3rd Annual Créa Awards

BOS and its client, the Concessionnaires Honda du Québec/Quebec Honda Dealers, took the Grand Créa at the 2008 Créa Competition awards in Montreal Apr. 10/08, with BOS also winning six other Grand Prix and six Prix in the process.

But while about 60 agencies and advertisers entered the 3rd annual Créa Competition , only seven agencies and their clients walked away with the top Grand Prix, and two others took Prix.

The Grand Prix were divided between BOS, Sid Lee (four plus 12 Prix), Cossette (four plus three Prix), LG2 (three plus 11 Prix) Bleublancrouge (one plus eight Prix), TAXI Montréal (one plus two Prix) and PALM Arnold Communication (one plus one Prix). Also winning Prix were Allard Johson Communications - in the Single Newspaper Ad category - and Marketel - in the Non-traditional advertising category.

In addition, Grand Prix were awarded to nine artisans of the industry:
Direction - Emanuel Hoss-Desmarais (for advertiser Réno-Dépôt);
Photo direction - Nicolas Bolduc (for Réno-Dépôt);
Acting - Martin Matte (for Honda Dealers);
Motion design - Fake Studio (for Adidas);
Music - Studio Apollo (for Bombardier);
Photography - Alain Desjean (for Burger King);
Costume - Francesca Chamberland (for Loto-Québec);
Hair - Richard Hansen (for Loto-Québec);
Make-up - Larysa Chernienko (for Loto-Québec).

The Créa awards, presented by Editions InfoPresse in association withe the Association des agences de publicité du Québec, honour the best creative advertising produced by agencies and advertisers in Québec. More than 1,600 people, mainly agency creatives and their clients attended the event held at Stade Uniprix.
