Third Week Winners of ouvretaboite.com
by Gail Chiasson
Apr 21, 2008
A great number of advertising creatives and other industry representatives came out in force last Thursday night for the third evening of 5 à 7 ouvretaboite.com competition where entries vied to show their best work following a Radio-Canada online briefing.

Alexandre Lamarre took first prize for his daring concept presented on a common serviette, proving that a good idea speaks for itself. Jocelyn Tremblay took second place and a team of Victoria Dimaano and Jean-François Ménard took third. The three prizes were presented by Louis-Thomas Pelletier of Sid Lee, Manuel Ferrarini of Saint-Jacques Vallée Young & Rubicam and Mitch Cayouette of Marketel.

Marc-André Côté, in the name of Radio-Canada, gave the client's prix coup de cœur to the team of Étienne Fortin-Gauthier and Étienne Soucy. And Gilbert Paquette of Hebdos Québec, official presenter of the 5 à 7 ouvretaboite.com, presented the media creativity prize to the Dimaano-Ménard team.

All these winners, as well as the winners of weeks one and two, along with whoever wins week four, all advance to the final - for a chance to win a three month stage at LXB. The week four briefing by Pragga is now online at ouvretaboite.com for students wishing to enter. There is no need to have entered the previous weeks' competitions to still have this last chance.

Both week four winners awards and the Grand Finale will be held Apr. 24/08 at the Café de la Cinémathèque (335, boul. de Maisonneuve Est, Montreal). The evening will include a DJ, buffet and hockey on the big screen. Industry representatives are invited to attend.

Winning entries from week three can be seen at ouvretaboite.com/fr/5a7-ouvretaboite/talents-vedettes/default.idigit and photos of winners and judges can be seen in our photo gallery (opens new window) or on the ouvretaboite.com site.
