Toronto-based Salt + Light Television, Canada’s first national Catholic Network, is now streaming its specialty network online, 24 hours a day at www.saltandlighttv.org.
“Our goal isn’t to change the viewing habits of Canadians who watch us through our digital television network, but to offer access to those unable to watch us through conventional TV,” says Fr. Thomas Rosica, CEO, Salt + Light Network. “We are also streaming online to reach young people in their preferred medium while reaching thousands of international viewers of our programs and documentaries that have urged us to make the network universally available.”
In addition to newly launched online streaming, the Salt + Light website offers many resources including Zoom, a daily Catholic update, on-demand viewing of select feature programming, and the Salt + Light blog.
Select episodes of Salt + Light Television’s feature programming such as its daily current events show Catholic Focus, the high-profile interview series Witness, and the fast-paced youth series In Your Faith can all be viewed through the Web site on-demand.Established in 2003, the Salt and Light Catholic Media Foundation is a privately funded, charitable organization offering Catholic content through a diverse range of multi-media tools, including television production, digital television distribution and the Internet.
Salt + Light Television is available nationally on Bell ExpressVu and various cable companies across Canada.
