Perry and Crammond Promoted at Mediadge:CIA Canada
by Gail Chiasson
Jul 25, 2008
New appointments at Mediaedge:cia (MEC) Canada, Toronto, include that of Rodney Perry to the position of managing partner, director at MEC Interaction, and Dave Crammond to the role of senior vice-president, MEC Trading.

MEC Interaction specializes in the strategic planning of interactive communication channels, from digital through to all forms of direct response media. MEC Trading engages in media buying and implementation, and provides clients with in-depth marketplace knowledge of both traditional paid-for-media and emerging 'new' communications channels.

Perry has been responsible for providing a wealth of digital thought leadership and extending the digital/online offering across all MEC clients since joining MEC Interaction in 2007.

Crammond will bring his expertise and experiences as the current vice-president broadcast director of MEC to the newly created role of senior vice-president MEC Trading, where he will extend his trading responsibilities from the current focus on TV and Radio to all media channels, including digital and outdoor. He will also continue his role within the Group M Canada Trading Team.

“Dave and Rodney will make fantastic contributions in their new roles” says Bruce Neve, president of Mediaedge:cia (MEC) Canada. “Dave will be placing an emphasis on the intelligent application of scale and relationship building with large multi-platform media owners.

"In addition to leading organic and new business growth in the digital, online, mobile, and search arenas, Rodney will be accessing MEC Global Network for advanced learnings and applications to provide superior thought leadership to our clients. We can look forward to a new range of innovative market solutions from these very talented professionals.”
