Marc Fortier, has joined Grafikom LP, Toronto, as senior vice-president business strategy. Fortier has over 20 years experience in the graphic communications industry with extensive operational and marketing expertise focused on print production, database marketing and direct marketing. His most recent role was as executive vice-president, digital services and business development of Toronto-based PLM Group Ltd.. He previously had been general manager of Yorkville Printing, a division of Transcontinental. Fortier's work as an innovator in the industry has landed him on the list of Canada's Top 50 most influential people in the Graphic Arts industry three times in the last five years. In parallel, the company is combining its Toronto based commercial and packaging operations into a single center of excellence at 180 Bond Avenue. As a result, Grafikom's Toronto operations will each have a distinct focus, and will rank amongst the largest offset and digital printing operations in Canada. Digital capability and personalization will also be expanded in Western and Eastern Canada. All of these facilities will operate as an integrated component of Grafikom's overall platform, providing customers with unparalleled capabilities on a local, national and international level.
