Tracogna will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to the lakefront attraction.

Chair David Crombie says that Tracogna brings great experience and new ideas to an integral piece of Toronto's waterfront.

Tracogna has a wealth of senior leadership experience in both policy operations, strategic planning, and developing sustainable partnerships with both the public and private sectors. For the past six years, he served as director, Toronto International Tourism, with the City of Toronto. He also has leadership experience in economic development, special events and tourism with the municipalities of Brampton and Toronto.

"I look forward to working closely with Ontario Place's team of dedicated professionals, Board Members and Ministry of Tourism representatives to continue to create world-class events such as the Rogers Chinese Lantern Festival and the Canada Dry Festival of Fire," says Tracogna.
