Banana Boat and Hawaiian Tropic have retained Paradigm Public Relations, the young, growing Toronto-based agency, as their public relations partner for 2008. Mike Abbass, Paradigm vice-president, says that the PR shop is looking forward to helping Hawaiian Tropic and Banana Boat - "two iconic, leading brands" - communicate their "great brand attributes and the importance of sun protection to Canadians." Paradigm has begun working on campaigns for both brands. The programs include national media relations and sponsorship promotions. Among other Paradigm clients are: Schick Canada, Jamieson Laboratories, AIG Travel Guard, Polar Electro Canada, TD Waterhouse, SickKids Foundation, Mill St. Brewery, Ride for Karen and X-Design.
