AGO Chooses NATIONAL PR
by Gail Chiasson
Jul 30, 2008
The 'Transformed' Art Gallery of Ontario has awarded NATIONAL Public Relations the mandate for its high profile Canadian and international launch.

AGO will reopen Nov. 14/08 following an ambitious Transformation project launched in 2002. NATIONAL’s partnership with the AGO will see the agency fulfill a dual role of designing and executing the ceremonial re-opening event as well as conducting U.S. and international media relations to generate interest in the imaginative and innovative new Gallery.

The AGO awarded the mandate to NATIONAL following a competitive RFP process, as well as on the strength of the agency’s historical relationship with the Gallery. NATIONAL worked extensively with the AGO to launch the Transformation project in 2002 and to unveil the Frank Gehry design for the building in 2004.
