Midas' 'Chase' developed by DDB Canada/Vancouver was the only One Show Gold Pencil winner from Canada, winning in the Television :30/:25 Single category. There were only about a dozen gold pencils handed out this year with many categories having no gold winner and, in some cases, no silver winner either. Three Canadian agencies took silver: - Radio Single: IKEA's 'Low Voice' by zig/Toronto; - Television - :20 and Under - Single: Canadian Film Centre (Worldwide Short Film Festival)'s 'Scooter' by doug agency/Toronto; - Outdoor - Campaign: James Ready's 'Share Our Billboard Campaign' by Leo Burnett/Toronto. Best of Show went to Tourism Queensland for 'The Best Job in the World' by CumminsNitro/South Brisbane. The Green Pencil Winner was Haagen Dazs' 'Help the Honey Bees' by Goodby, Silverstein & Partners/San Francisco.
