A-Channel Vancouver Island Takes Three Awards at RTNDA B.C. Regionals

A-Channel Vancouver Island took home three coveted awards at The Radio-Television News Directors Association British Columbia Regional Awards Banquet in late April, with recognition for excellence in Videography, Long Feature Reports and Coverage of a Live Event.

A-Channel Vancouver Island has earlier received six prestigious RTNDA International Edward R. Murrow Awards in the International Division – including the award for Overall News Excellence.

The complete list of RTNDA B.C. Regional Awards presented to A-Channel Vancouver Island includes:
- Best Videography – for 'Leaf Sucker Upper';
- Best Long Feature (Medium Market) – for 'Canadian Aid in Africa';
- Best Coverage of Live Special Events – for 'Vancouver Island Remembers'.

These local award winners will go on to compete for the RTNDA National Awards, to be presented at the RTNDA National Conference in Ottawa on June 21/08.
