| McMillan Wins Second Consecutive Applied Arts Award | |||||||||

Ottawa-based McMillan has been selected, for the second consecutive year, by the judging panel of the Applied Arts Design and Advertising Awards to be included in its November Annual issue. The piece that won this year's award was 'Unfold', Catalyst Paper's magazine about the paper and printing industry. It won in the Newsletter, Journal or House Publication Design category. Of being recognized two years in a row, Gordon McMillan, agency president and chief creative officer, says, "It shows that we can consistently create work that's engaging, effective, and able to stand out from the clutter." Applied Arts is Canada's premier magazine of visual communications. For more than 20 years, it has delivered gorgeous imagery, strong opinion, timely In Applied Arts contests, every entry is scored independently by each judge based on creative merit, technical excellence, and suitability for end use.
