Tourism Toronto has selected Boxer B-Scene Media Inc. to help promote a segment of its Toronto experience program in the United States. As the media partner for its high-value spring/summer program, Boxer B-Scene Media Inc.’s portfolio of brands will position Toronto, Ontario as the destination of choice for young up-and-coming and mature American couples. The June-September advertising campaign will be promoted through carefully selected high-tier magazines and lifestyle digital online outlets that are currently represented by Boxer B-Scene Media Inc. Mark Boxer, managing partner, Boxer B-Scene Media says that the company will be working with Tourism Toronto and its agencies Mediavest and USDM.net to ensure a successful multi-media campaign in the US. "Through our portfolio of best-in-class print and digital brands, we’re well-positioned to do so," says Boxer. "Each of the media partners embraced the opportunity to create exceptional advertorials that really provide a strong sense and flavor of what Toronto has to offer.” The program supports lifestyle and travel experiences with a focus on fashion, shopping, food and wine, culture, nightlife, and sports. “Research tells us that high-value consumers continue to travel during difficult economic times, attracted by the experiences available – including great theatre, unique festivals and strong cultural offerings,” says Joel Peters, senior vice-president, Tourism Toronto. “Showcasing what we have to offer the sophisticated U.S. visitor is an important step in maintaining our strong position as a growing tourist destination.” Advertorials will appear in Esquire, Inc., Harper’s Bazaar, Town & Country, Fast Company and Men’s Health. As well, rich content-integrated programs will run on Glam Media, MensHealth.com, FastCompany.com, Inc.com, and WashingtonPost.com. Several public relations partners are providing unique media and marketing events in New York to further raise the profile of Tourism Toronto and Air Canada among key influential media partners.
