The Globe and Mail, Rinaldi and LXB were among several Canadian companies taking awards at the 2009 Summit Creative Award Competition. The Globe and Mail’s trade marketing Hands campaign took three Silver and two Bronze awards, selected from among 4,200 submissions from 26 countries. The campaign won Silvers in the categories: Newspaper Advertising Campaign; B2B Trade Publication Full Page or Larger; and Consumer Media; and Bronze awards in the Newspaper Fractional Page and B2B Trade Publication Campaign categories. The advertising creative for the campaign was planned and developed by Toronto ad agency Black, The Globe and Mail’s trade marketing agency-of-record. Photography is by Curtis Lantinga Photography Ltd., media by Gaggi Media, and public relations by Environics Communications. The campaign is supported online at www.GlobeLink.ca The Globe’s trade portal. Rinaldi Communication Marketing, Montreal, was awarded three prizes in the Summit Awards: These honours reflect credit on the entire creative team under Suzie Simard’s direction.
